I’m very impressed with the quality of this handmade buffalo leather journal. It arrived packaged with care and attention to detail. The journal is a very versatile size with hand stitched signatures. The paper is really good quality and when I tested it with various pens, including fountain pens, there is no bleed through and minimal ghosting. Excellent and surprising, considering the paper is also handmade. I really loved the option to have the journal personalised with foiling which makes it perfect for a keepsake and gift. Definitely versatile for any age, occasion and gender, I really like the Indiana Jones or treasure map vibe it gives off with the leather wrap closure. A really beautiful product and excellent service from Pooja as well.

I’ve used other types of handmade paper before. They can sometimes be delicate and brittle, but this paper is sturdy without being too stiff.

It’s also really soft. I was surprised by that. It has a nice velvety texture. I use mine for portrait drawing.
